Jet Lag (“we”, “our”, “us”) operates the Jet Lag mobile application. This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

INFORMATION WE COLLECT

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your email address, name, airline, base airport, and crew role. This information is used to personalise your experience and connect you with crew on shared layovers.

Location Data

We collect your location to show nearby activities during layovers and detect when you visit recommended places. Background location is used to maintain layover detection accuracy. You can disable location access at any time in your device settings.

Usage Data

We collect anonymous usage analytics to improve the app experience. This includes screens visited, features used, and crash reports.

Messages & Content

Messages sent through crew chat and reviews you leave on places are stored to provide the social features of the app.

Subscription Data

If you subscribe to Jet Lag Pro, purchase information is processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store) and RevenueCat. We store your subscription status but not payment card details.

– Provide and personalise layover plans

– Connect you with crew on shared layovers

– Process and manage subscriptions

– Send layover reminders and notifications (with your consent)

– Improve app performance and fix bugs

– Respond to support requests

DATA SHARING

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

– Firebase (Google) — authentication, database, analytics

– RevenueCat — subscription management

– Google Maps — location and mapping services

DATA RETENTION

Your account data is retained while your account is active. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings > Privacy > Delete Account.

YOUR RIGHTS

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting [email protected] or using the in-app account deletion feature.

SECURITY

We use industry-standard encryption and security practices to protect your data. All data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored in secure cloud infrastructure.

CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

Jet Lag is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or via email.
